Cloning = useless??

Today, while doing nothing in my library, I overheard my "neighbours" talking about Dolly, the world's first cloned sheep. They were apparently researching on cloning and somehow they got to the topic of why Dolly died so fast after cloning. One of their team member suggested that cloning cells from the parent cell would mean the cloned cells are as old and worn out like the parents' cells. This means that even though the clone may look like a baby(if you manage to make the clone look like one), the baby would have had the same life span as his/her parent, aka they will still die at the same time(like if u clone me when im 10 years old, and i die at 20, my clone will live to be 10 years old only). I heard it and you know, it does sound plausible. If it is true, then its so sad :(. We cannot clone back some old geniuses like Einstein and wait for him to grow old normally so that the new Einstein clone can continue his research and this can continue until we have all sorts of cool stuffs! Oh well, I guess some things are just not meant to be.

So, do you want to be clones IF your baby self is a total brand new organism with new cells?

I CAN SNAP!

whee! today after so long of randomly trying to practice snapping my fingers, i finally can snap at a decent decibal! XD! Previousl, I can't snap at all. Now this is a weird thing because snapping comes naturally by practicing snapping even though there is no sound at first. I wonder why? I hope the doctors and biologists can explain this to me. Nevertheless, I CAN SNAP! WHEEE!

Lols! so much work to do, yet so much procrastination aura surrounding me! omg! haha! NEXT MONTH IS OF THE COMINGS !!! MEANS MORE MONNEH!!! And u know wat that means!?!

1) MAMAK UNTIL ME BEBOLA MATA MENJADI CECAIR!~!~!
2) Belanja back my fat kar zhe as she belanjaed me alot during outings where i was poor XD!
3) Eat sushi zanmai/sushi tei/sake sushi (from most wanted to least wanted) with my pals or family
4) Why is everything in this list all food? XD!
5) Save up for the friggin expensive event which I don't even celebrate if it wasn't for them aka christmas aka anti CNY(cuz cny u gain money, this one rapes 3 years of CNY money u gained LOLS)
6) Really really wanna revisit that korean BBQ house at ss2 as the soup has touched the bottom of my stomach LOLS! The food there is awesome! Very pricy though sighs :(! Maybe we should order 2 chickens and then just keep eating rice rice and SOUP XD!
7) Go movie with Jianny maybe?? And alex! That fool better not be grounded or i will GROUND HIM!(u know...ground...like put extra wires on ur electrical appliance...yeah...stuff him into the ground or something lols)
8) omg i reach 8 adi! means "fatt" means prosperity means more monneh!!!
9) I'm clearly just wasting lines to reach 10 le lolable!
10) Waste my friends time by misleading them to reading my list of things to do even though it ended at 6(since 4 is rubbish lols) XD! OCTOBER FOOL! XD

Chaos Theory

Recently I've watched a very old movie called "Chaos" which explained the Chaos theory. You can find online for what is the Chaos theory but here's the simplest definition I've found:

"The theory of non-linear functions, such that small differences in the input of the function can result in large and unpredictable differences in the output."

If you still don't understand, here's a analogical situation for you to compare with.

Abu was a pilot for a conventional Boeing 747. Just like everyday, he has the responsibility to transport hundreds of passenger from location A to location B. One day, for some reason he has a slight migraine. He thought to himself, "It'll probably be over after a quick nap. After all, I need my leaves to go on a holiday with my family." And so, he went to nap and prayed for his migraine to go away. When he woke up, it was still there, but being more selfish than professional, he decided to go on and fly anyway. His co-pilot, Abau is usually a very pre-cautious person. He prioritises his health each time before a flight, because he knew his health could affect his performance, which thousands of lives rely on. However, on the same day, it was his colleagues birthday. They went for sushi. Sushi is healthy food, so of course Abau did not push such an offer. Abu however did not join them for sushi because he was worried as he heard rumours about food poisoning at that particular outlet, although none was confirmed.

So during flight, Abau's stomach suddenly felt funny, and he immediately ran for the plane's washroom to do his business. During that time, Abu's head was in so much pain he couldn't concentrate at all on flying. He led the plane to a colliding altitude where another plane was suppose to use that path, and hence, 2 plane-ful of people were sacrificed on that sorrow-filled day. If Abu were to take his sick leave, and have a replacement pilot take over his place, or if Abau had feared the rumours about the food poisoning, and if that particular altitude wasn't in use by another airplane during that same instance, the collision wouldn't have happened. All the random series of events, although totally unrelated to each other at first, is suddenly all inter-linked to a final result(the collision) and hence the Chaos theory is born.

I find the Chaos theory very interesting. Its like at first these little pieces of puzzles looks totally random and feels negligible, suddenly becomes clear that they are indeed needed pieces of puzzle to form the entire picture. Haha. Who knows, me typing this blog led to a policeman spending time reading this, which led to a thief successfully infiltrated a politician's home, which led to the politician dying, which led to the failure of a peace treaty that was suppose to take place between that politician and another politician from a different party, which led to the opposing party feeling insulted, which led to riot, which led to my death as I was caught in the middle of the riot. Lol.... Its all Chaos theory baby!

On the side note, its amazing how friends can stay friends after the trial of time itself. I believe friendships lasts longer than a diamond(which if you pay attention in your chemistry class, will try to go back to its more stable state which is carbon). The 6 pax, which the name randomly blabbered out by me and someone else which i forgot who as we suddenly recalled chee chung's 6 pax and there is 6 of us, was able to last until today, a total of almost 3 years? Sadly my poor memory disables me to remember the exact day this pack of friends form. Maybe we should set 6th of every june as 6 pax day or something? Lol...

Besides that, my samad friends whom I thought will be gone after form 5, is still here! Mamak sessions going on almost weekly, sometimes even more, with occasional "adventure sepesial", we have been going strong for 1.5 years now. The Mamak Gang is not just a bunch of friends going mamak for fun and laughter, its a social society comparable to facebook itself. Special thanks to Alwin(founder i guess) and Jia Yun(current OP) whom have shown much efforts in organising mamak sessions and also the frequent transportation providers, Reuben, Jia Yun, the late Weng Wai, new entry Chan Wai and temporary volunteer Yung Khang which has returned to Australia, for making everything possible. Without the generosity of everyone above, it couldn't have been possible. Also thanks to those rare attendants/transporters like Tom, Lin Yi, Alia and Keng Yew. Not to forget the normal participants like Vincent, Jessica, Alwin and myself!

Sadly, for my Taylor's ring of friends, I've only been keeping in touch frequently with Jian Wai and Alex. The main reason I would say is because of my other friends living far as hell. I still remember when I first entered uni, Brian was my first friend then Hong Yi, then Aaron and then the whole class. LOL! Taylor's was fun la. I kinda miss the carefree lifestyle of Taylor's and Samad. Now Monash is an ASS T_T...
